Plant ecophysiology and plant-plant and plant-microorganism interactions
Activité au sein de l’unité

My research falls within the framework of agroecology, with a specific interest in plant and varietal associations, including or not legumes, and their effects on agroecosystems, with a particular focus on :

Varietal and interspecific associations, with or without legumes.
The underlying ecophysiological mechanisms associated with the presence of legumes, in particular their role in fixing atmospheric nitrogen and their impact on the root environment.
The impact of these associations on
Resource use efficiency (water, nitrogen, light)
Crop productivity in monospecific versus varietal or species associations
        The resilience of agroecosystems

My activities :

Ecophysiology of plant associations and optimisation of resource use efficiency
Nitrogen use efficiency in agroforestry systems combining legumes and grasses
Study of functional plant-micro-organism interactions with a focus on microbial biofertilisers

Activités d’enseignement

My teaching activities cover the three years of training for engineering students at ENSAIA and also the second year of the AETPF Master's degree. I teach on the following topics:

1st year ENSAIA modules: Plant Ecophysiology, Plant Genetics, Ecology, Statistics
2nd year ENSAIA modules: Water in agrosystems, Advanced statistics
3rd year ENSAIA modules, BIOTECH speciality: Metabolic engineering, In vitro culture, Molecular virology, New biotech,
    Master 2 AETPF Nancy: Agroforestry

+ co-supervision of student' 3A PROTEC and BIOTECH speciality projects
