My research activities focus on mineralization of soil organic matter ensured by soil microorganisms. This function is studied at different scales (from the rhizospheric soil to agricultural plots) with different approaches (microbial, molecular, isotopic) to establish the relationships between the abundance and/or diversity of functional microbial communities and their activities (enzymatic measurements and / or net mineralization fluxes). Different cropping systems (permanent grasslands, agroforestry, annual crops) and agricultural practices (soil tillage, use of livestock effluent, use of microbial biofertilisers and/or biostimulants) are considered in response to various pedoclimatic contexts.
