Pollinators and Pollination

Here, the work of LAE’s scientists aims to analyze the relationships between agricultural practices, landscape characteristics (composition and configuration), abundance and diversity of pollinators and, in turn, the pollination service. The challenge lies in the integration of knowledge on the various conservation or restoration levers of pollinator communities and the pollination of grassland flora and, to a lesser extent, cultivated plants. The approaches implemented combine landscape ecology, community ecology and functional ecology. For example, originally, a functional approach is developed to decipher pollinator-plant networks within grasslands.
